The winners of the Prix Galien USA awards for 2012 were:
- YERVOY® (ipilimumab), Bristol-Myers Squibb in the category best biotechnology product.
- VICTRELIS® (boceprevir), Merck and INCIVEK® (telaprevir), Vertex in the category of best medicine.
- SAPIEN Transcatheter Heart Valve of Edwards Lifesciences and Melody® Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve (TPV) to Medtronic in the category best diagnostic tool.
- The Pro Bono Humanum Award for 2012 was awarded to the physician-geneticist Dr. Francis Collins.
