The Prix Galien Germany was held in a splendid ceremony with 330 guests at the unique «Axica» (creation of the famous architect Frank O. Ghery). The event was under the auspices of the Federal Health Minister, Daniel BAHR, and highlighted three winners.
The award winners are:
- Best Research Project: Dr. Thomas Worzfeld, Max-Planck-Institut für Herz-und Lungenforschung, Bad Nauheim “ErbB-2 signals through Plexin-B1 to promote breast cancer metastasis”
- Best Pharmaceutical Product (Specialist care): Zelboraf® (Vemurafenib) / Roche Pharma
- Best Pharmaceutical Product (Primary care): Gilenya® (Fingolimod) / Novartis Pharma
