The announcement of the winners was made by a jury of 20 members of the Italian Prix Galien awards which was held under the chairmanship of Professor Rodolfo Paoletti. The awarding ceremony was held in Società del Giardino in Milan, in the presence of representatives from the medical, research, scientific societies and the pharmaceutical industry.
The winners are:
- Best Pharmaceutical Product: Gilenya® (fingolimod) / Novartis and
Valdoxan® (agomelatine) / Servier - Best Research Project: Sofia Francia IFOM Foundation (Molecular Oncology FIRC Institute)
