The winner of the Humanitarian Award, Pro Bono Humanum, of Prix Galien Greece 2015 Dr. Afxentios Kalagkos, Director of Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic of the University Hospital of Geneva, met yesterday 27/1/16 with HM President of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Prokopis Pavlopoulos.
The President of the Hellenic Republic received the eminent cardiac surgeon, founder of the International Foundation «Coeurs Pour Tous» and congratulated him for his great humanitarian work, since he has treated free 15,000 needy children around the world, with a unique reward the smile of these children.
Prix Galien Greece expresses once again its admiration and appreciation to the personality of Dr. Afxentios Kalagkos and the honor that bestowed to our organization by accepting his award.
On this occasion, we would like to inform you that the next Prix Galien Greece will take place early 2017 in Athens.
