The awarding gala took place in Berlin under the Patronage of du Pr Johanna WANKA, Federal Minister for Education and Research.
The prizes awarded were:
- Pr Jan-Erik SIEMENS (Heidelberg University) for his work on “GABA Blocks Pathological but Not Acute TRPV1 Pain Signals”
- Nalmefen (SELINCRO®- Lundbeck GmbH)
- Radium 223 dichlorid (XOFIGO® – Bayer Healthcare)
- Ataluren (TRANSLARNA™ – PTC Therapeutics Germany GmbH).
